From Cell Detection to Spectral Analysis. We deliver high sensitivity, high speed and compact design to ensure the advanced and reliable performance of your instrument.
Tucsen’s range of High Sensitivity cameras deliver 95% QE in visible and near 100% for EUV/Soft X-ray. This combined with engineered low read noise and dark current minimised to effectively zero these cameras are the ultimate in sCMOS technology for low light imaging.
Designed and engineered to overcome historic patterning the Dhyana series utilises exclusive Tucsen calibration technology leading to higher quality images when imaging near the camera bias.
Operate with our own Mosaic software or utilise existing packages such as Micromanager, MATLAB, LabVIEW etc. Alternatively integrate into your own imaging software using our SDK and support in Windows, Linux or Mac OS.
+ Learn moreSize matters, especially when the space is limited in your optical set up or the instrument you are designing. But needing a small camera doesn’t mean you need to reduce your requirements and move to a classical industrial CCD cameras.
Tucsen offers the smallest available sCMOS package design available with dimensions of 50x50x62mm including the mount.
+ Learn moreIn the past decade CCD has gradually withdrawn from the scientific imaging arena. The lower-noise faster-speed sCMOS is the leader in advanced scientific imaging. However sCMOS still does not solve the problem of high dark current noise and high cost.
Based on Tucsen’s professional cooling technology from sCMOS cameras, Tucsen FL cameras have achieved the same level of CCD as the dark current noise and cost performance. At the same time it has the typical characteristics of CMOS: lower readout noise and faster speed.
Tucsen FL cameras have the most comprehensive performance in applications which require long exposure time and the need for cost-effective scientific imaging.
+ Learn moreTucsen’s Michrome Cameras offer a variety of resolution and pixel size combinations to match your imaging needs. With high speed USB 3.0 interfaces customers never suffer lag or focus delays.
With Multicamera simultaneous SDK support these cameras are ideal for multicamera configurations or as a secondary camera used in combination with a sCMOS device.
+ Learn moreCapturing and working with an image is an experience, the experience is driven by the combination of great hardware and easy-to-use, yet powerful software.
Mosaic 1.6 has been involving for many years and is built on the feedback of the advanced imaging community, it delivers all the tools you would expect in a paid software package but is included for free with our Dhyana series of cameras.

Mosaic 2.3 has been involving for many years and is built on the feedback of the microscopy community, it delivers all the tools you would expect in a paid software package but is included for free with our Microscope Documentation products.
+ Learn moreWe appreciate customers have personal preferences for software and try, where possible, to work with their developers to ensure support.
We are committed to supporting the main packages used in the research market, supporting our customer network who need more through our free SDK in different systems of Windows, Mac and Linux.
+ Learn moreTucsen sells its Research products through a Direct Sales team & global distribution network, selling many thousands per year. Part of our strength is our ability to create local Private Label or OEM versions of our products to help remove unneeded focus or intrigue by your end-users. Creating your own version of a Tucsen product, branded with your company logo running your own variant of our software could not be easier and set up times are faster than you may think.
