25/02/13How to clean the camera window piece?
When the image taken by the camera has stains or dirty spots, please first determine the location of the dirty spots by using the following methods:
1) Move the sample, and the black spot will move along with it (the black spot is on the sample).
2) Conversion objective, the black spot will move or eliminate with (the black spot is on the objective, it is recommended to clean the microscope objective).
3) Convert the eyepiece, the black spot will move or eliminate with it (the black spot is on the eyepiece, it is recommended to clean the microscope eyepiece).
4) Rotate the camera, the black spot will move along. If you determine that the dirty spot is outside the camera window, follow the following method to clean the camera window:
1) Be a priority for air blow.
Use ear wash ball or air blow to blow the window to blow off the general dust, with the brush.
2) With an absolute ethanol wipe.
When blowing treatment, there is still dust residue. For stubborn oily dust, clean cotton swabs (or special mirror paper, non-woven cloth, etc.) and absolute ethanol and other special tools should be prepared. Take a dust-free cotton swab, flatten the swab head and dip with absolute ethanol, shake off the excess liquid, and gently wipe the camera window.
When wiping the dust-free cotton swab, the direction must be in the same direction (do not turn back or wipe back and forth), and gently push the dirt dust to the edge of the lens. If there is relatively large dust, the dust-free cotton swab must be glued up and removed before wiping the window and letting the alcohol on the window surface evaporate completely.
3) After cleaning, the camera mouth C faces down, cover the dust cover, and place it horizontally.
Note:
1) absolute ethanol (pure alcohol) is used to avoid water marks after wiping.
2) The excess liquid in the cotton swab is thinned away to avoid too much alcohol remaining on the surface of the window sheet.
3) If it is impossible to complete the cleaning steps independently or if there are no required items, please contact us for handling.
4) If the dirt still exists after following the above steps, you can try to wipe it again by following the above steps. If you cannot solve it, the sensor may be dirty inside, please contact us to deal with it.
