How to calibrate measurements?

1. Create a calibration ruler

Create the calibration ruler refer to the following tutorial video.

operating steps:

1) The software can support real-time preview calibration, place the microruler on the microscope, adjust the microscope to the clearest state.

2) Open the [Analysis] module on the right side of the software, corresponding to the [calibration ruler] calibration ruler, as shown in the figure below.

3) Click the [Draw a line] button to draw a line in the preview screen.

4) Enter the name of the calibration ruler, draw the corresponding length, and set the correct unit.

5) Click [Application] to save the settings to the calibration table and use this calibration ruler to the current measurement.

Note:

1) At different magnification times and resolution, the calibration operation should be conducted separately to create the corresponding calibration ruler.

2) When setting the length, selecting a longer scale length gives you more accurate results. For example, selecting 10 small scale lengths will achieve more accuracy than selecting only one small scale length.

3) If you need to create multiple calibration rules, you recommend using an objective + C interface adapter (if useful) + resolution naming. This naming method avoids using the wrong calibration ruler for measurement.

2. Calibration chart

The ability to add, edit and delete calibration measures is available in the calibration table, as shown in the figure below.

1) Check the small box in the first column of the calibration ruler, which can be used to switch the currently used calibration ruler.

2) Right-click the calibration ruler, select Delete in the pop-up menu, and you can delete the selected calibration ruler, but the calibration ruler in use cannot be deleted.

3) After selecting the calibration ruler, the corresponding information can be modified on the right side. Click [Add] to add a calibration ruler, and click [Edit] to save the modified content to the current calibration ruler.

4) Right-click the menu, click [Save as] to back up the calibration table in the computer.

5) Right-click the menu, click [Load] to import the backup calibration ruler in the computer.

Note:

Choosing the wrong calibration ruler will make the measurement result completely wrong. When measuring the images, special attention is required to choose the correct calibration ruler.
